„Verantwortung“ gehört zu den ethischen und politischen Grundbegriffen, wie „Freiheit“ oder „Gerechtigkeit“. Entsprechend weit und breit ist die systematische wie die historische Literatur dazu. Wir werden keinen Überblick geben (können), sondern planen Einblicke systematischer Art in einige Auffassungen im Zusammenhang mit Zurechnung, Absichten, Fähigkeiten, Rollen und Folgen. Das werden wir zum Teil anhand von Bereichen tun, in denen besonders viel von Verantwortung die Rede ist, wie z.B. Konsumentenverantwortung, globale Verantwortung, historische Verantwortung o.ä. Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten individueller und (umstrittener) kollektiver Verantwortung wird dabei ein seminarbegleitendes Thema sein.

Diese Veranstaltung kann als Graduierten-Seminar im Rahmen des fachwissenschaftlichen Masterstudiengangs Philosophie angerechnet werden.

Subject assignments

Im Seminar werden aktuelle wissenschaftliche Texte (im Umfang üblicher Zeitschriftenartikel) in deutscher und englischer Sprache diskutiert. Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten ist die gründliche Lektüre dieser Texte, die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern bzw. 10-20 Minuten. Genauere Informationen dazu geben wir in der ersten Seminarsitzung.
Im Masterstudiengang erfolgt der Erwerb von Leistungspunkten ausschließlich auf Modulebene.
