Das Seminar vermittelt einen praxisorientierten Einblick in wissenschaftlich erprobte Methoden der klinisch-psychologischen Intervention. Dabei werden operante, Entspannungs- und Rollenspielverfahren sowie Methoden der Reizkonfrontation behandelt. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf kognitiven Interventionen.
Das Therapierational und die Vorgehensweise der einzelnen Verfahren werden mit den TeilnehmerInnen zunächst im Plenum des Seminars erarbeitet. Darauf aufbauend führen die TeilnehmerInnen entsprechende praktische Übungen durch, in denen die für die einzelnen Interventionen notwendigen Fertigkeiten ausprobiert und eingeübt werden. Das Seminar findet in wöchentlichen Sitzungen statt.

Zuordnung im "Curriculum Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie": Schwerpunkt I, Pflicht.
