Gruppen sind allgegenwärtig in der Mathematik. In diesem Kurs werden wir uns
auf zwei Aspekte der Gruppentheorie konzentrieren.

Erstens, wir werden die Wirkungen von Gruppen untersuchen, d.h. die
Beziehung zwischen Gruppen und Symmetrien von verschiedenen
mathematischen Objekten.

Zweitens, wir werden Gruppenpraesentationen studieren, d.h. eine
Methode neue Gruppen zu definieren. Um Gruppenpraesentationen gut zu
verstehen, werden wir auch Graphen und Dreieckskomplexe diskutieren.
