H. Halbfas spricht vom Religionsbuch als "Grundmelodie", andere hingegen bezeichnen es als "Instrument der Verdummung".
Mit Blick auf den aktuellen Religionsbuch-Markt sollen didaktische Konzeptionen von Lehrwerken der Primarstufe /der Sek.I, die Anforderungen an Lehrpersonen , Schüler und Schülerinnen sowie Themenauswahl, Bildmaterial und Bezüge zu den Lehrplänen untersucht und diskutiert werden.
Gefragt wird auch nach dem Stellenwert und den methodischen Konzeptionen von ergänzenden Materialien wie Arbeitshilfen, Bildmappen, Liedsammlungen und Begleitfiguren/Handpuppen.Zum Seminar können Werbeprospekte von einschlägigen Verlagen (Auer, Patmos, Kösel...) mitgebracht werden !
