Die Teilnehmer/innen dieser Veranstaltung sind Lehramtsstudierende im Grundstudium des ESL. Sie werden auf ein Blockpraktikum an einer Deutschen Auslandsschule oder einer Reformschule in Welikij-Nowgorod, der russischen Partnerstadt von Bielefeld, vorbereitet, das im Zeitraum Mitte Februar bis Ende März 2004 durchzuführen ist. Im November und Dezember 2003 erfolgen im Seminar Erfahrungsberichte von ehemaligen Schulpraktikanten sowie Schulbesuche an Bielefelder Schulen - im Januar und Februar 2004 wird ein Kurztraining in Unterrichtsmethoden durchgeführt. Ein gemeinsamer Auswertungstermin nach erfolgtem Praktikum für Anfang Mai 2004 wird gemeinsam verabredet.
