Kenntnisse im Bereich der Unterrichtsplanung und Unterrichtsanalyse sind eine grundlegende Voraussetzung für ein qualifiziertes Handeln des Lehrers in der Klasse. Erst vor dem Hintergrund einer Reflexion der Lehrinhalte und der Lernziele, der Lernvoraussetzungen, der Medien, der Methodenkonzeptionen sowie der Rahmenbedingungen wird eine systematische und professionelle Unterrichtsgestaltung möglich. Die verschiedenen Modelle der Allgemeinen Didaktik sind theoretische Beschreibungen zur Begründbarkeit pädagogischen Unterrichtshandelns: allgemein zur theoriegeleiteten Analyse und Gestaltung des komplexen Kontextes von Lehren und Lernen. Schwerpunktmäßig soll auf neuere bildungstheoretische Modelle bis hin zum Konzept des Schüleraktiven Unterrichts eingegangen werden.
