Am Beispiel des Lebens und Wirkens von Karl Tornow (1900-1985) wird die Bedeutung der NS-Zeit für die Entwicklung der Sonderschule sichtbar gemacht. Gegenstand der Seminararbeit ist die Auseinandersetzung mit der Biografie Tornows, mit seinen zentralen Schriften und mit dem Film "Erbkrank", einem rassenhygienischen Propagandafilm des Rassenpolitischen Amts der NSDAP. Im Zentrum des Seminars stehen Tornows Schriften zur Rassenhygiene und seine in der NS-Zeit erschienen Sonderschulbücher, die in einem Reader zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Als Arbeitsformen sind Plenums- und Kleingruppenarbeit vorgesehen. Für die aktive Teilnahme ist neben regelmäßiger Teilnahme das Lesen der Readertexte erforderlich. Eine benotete Einzelleistung kann in Form einer schriftlichen Hausarbeit erbracht werden, die spätestens am 12.10.09 abgegeben werden muss. Die benotete Einzelleistung kann nur im Rahmen der Veranstaltung von Frau Hagemann (Beleg-Nr. 250077) erbracht werden, für das Sie sich anmelden müssen. Dafür stehen maximal 15 Plätze zu Verfügung.
