Die Vorlesung stellt die phylogenetischen und evolutiven Zusammenhänge zwischen den Tiergruppen in den Mittelpunkt und begleitet die Übung "Spezielle Zoologie - Phylogenie". Im Laufe der Vorlesung soll ein tieferes Verständnis für die Zusammenhänge zwischen Organisation, Lebensweise und Biologie der Tiere vermittelt werden.
