Prosodie beschäftigt sich mit suprasegmentalen sprachlichen Phänomene, z.B. der Sprechmelodie (Intonation), der Akzentuierung/Hervorhebung, Längung/Verkürzung oder der rhythmischen Strukturierung von Äußerungen, sofern diese kommunikative Funktionen erfüllen. Wir lernen verschiedene Beschreibungsmodelle sowie Messmethoden kennen, mit denen prosodische Phänomene erfasst werden können und wenden sie in kleineren Studien selber an.
Im Kurs sollen folgende Inhalte behandelt werden:
Themen:
- Prosodische Phrasierung
- Prosodischer Fokus
- Sprachlicher Rhythmus
- Paralinguistische PhänomeneAnnotationen und Messmethoden
- Symbolische Annotation der Sprechmelodie: (z.B. GToBI, DIMA)
- Parametrisierung von Grundfrequenzkonturen (z.B. TILT, PaintE)
- Messung von wahrgenommener Betonungsstärke (Prominenz)
- Messung rhythmischer Variation

Transkription und Annotation 1, Grundkurs Phonetik und Phonologie
Wünschenswerte Vorkenntnisse:
Experimentalphonetik, Syntax und Morphologie, Semantik und Pragmatik
