Auch für Biochemiker u. Biotechnologen. Geschichte und moderne Methoden der Entwicklungsbiologie. Geschichte der Embryologie. Klassische und moderne Methoden. Anwendungen der Entwicklungsbiologie in Landwirtschaft, Produktion und Medizin. Keimbahn und Soma. Molekulare Grundlagen der Zelldifferenzierung. Links-rechts-Asymmetrie. Entwicklungspathologie (z.B. Tumorbiologie) und Altern. Entwicklungsgenetik von Pflanzen. Die Vorlesung bereitet u.a. den Stoff des Wahlpflichtpraktikums und der Helgoland-Exkursion vor und ergänzt ihn.
