Gesundheitssport im schulischen und außerschulischen Kontext mit einem Fokus auf Fitness, Entspannung und Ernährung.

Hinweis: Die Veranstaltung wird in größen teilen in englischer Sprache gehalten

Course participants will develop and shall be exposed to relevant exercise modalities, sport activities, minor and major games, and various training techniques as a means to enhance health related physical fitness components (i.e., cardiovascular, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility). The course serves as an introduction to the practical role of exercise in health, fitness, and wellness promotion through diverse exercise protocols.

Objectives
By the end of this course the students will be able to:
1. Creatively develop exercise programs to enhance the components of health related physical fitness using all the
available sport and exercise equipment in the hall.
2. Participate in all developed exercise programs during lectures in the sport hall.

Regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme (Übernahme eines Stundenteils und Ausarbeitung zu einem Unterrichtsthema).

1. Students will practically organize exercise programs on the specific fitness components during lecture periods at the
sports hall either individually or in small groups.
2. Group discussions: Students will discuss specific issues, share their views and feel free to disagree with others on
evidence-based literature on practical ways in promoting health, fitness, and wellness.
