Das Tutorium vermittelt Fähigkeiten zur Studienorganisation, Fachstrukturen und Studienkompetenzen. Es wird die Möglichkeit geboten sich mit anderen Studierenden auszutauschen und die vielfältigen Angebote der Universität kennenzulernen. Dazu zählen u.a. folgende Inhalte: Workshop zur Studienorientierung, Lernstrategien und Selbstorganisation, welche studienbegleitenden Unterstützungsangebote und Services hält die Hochschule bereit?, Einführung in die universitätsinterne Kommunikation (E-Mail-Korrespondenz mit Lehrenden, Sprechstundengespräche meistern) sowie Informationsveranstaltungen zur Studienbewerbung und Studienfinanzierung.

Das Seminar richtet sich an Teilnehmende des Orientierungsstudiums für internationale Studieninteressierte mit und ohne Fluchthintergrund (NaWiOS). Nach Rücksprache mit den Lehrenden können ggf. auch weitere Interessierte an dem Seminar teilnehmen.
