Gegenstand der Lehrveranstaltung ist die deutsche Morphologie und Syntax in deskriptiver und theoretischer Perspektive. Die Lehrveranstaltung knüpft an das in der linguistischen Fachportal-Veranstaltung erworbene Grundlagenwissen an. Thematische Schwerpunkte in der Morphologie bilden u.a. neuere Systematisierungsversuche im Bereich der Nominalflexion und eine eingehende Beschäftigung mit der Wortbildung. Den zentralen Schwerpunkt im Bereich der Syntax bildet die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Aufbau und der Struktur der verschiedenen Typen von Phrasen und Sätzen und ihre lineare wie hierarchische Analyse.
