250164 Die Produktion und Reproduktion sozialer Ungleichheiten (S) (SoSe 2015)

Das Seminar geht der aktuellen Frage der Produktionsbedingungen sozialer Ungleichheit nach. Dabei steht zunächst im Mittelpunkt zu klären, was wir meinen, wenn wir über soziale Ungleichheiten, Differenzierung oder Heterogenität sprechen. In diesem Zusammenhang werden vor allem die Ansätze des Sozial-Raums (Bourdieu) und damit verbundener Theorieelemente sowie der Milieu-Ansatz von Michael Vester et al. vorgestellt sowie andere Konzepte der Sozialstrukturanalyse, die voreilig von einer Entdifferenzierung und Pluralisierung ausgehen, kritisch betrachtet. Die Frage der Reproduktion der Ungleichheiten rekurriert auf eine Perspektive, die im weiteren Sinne Elemente der früheren schichtspezifischen und sozialstrukturellen Sozialisationsforschung aufnimmt und ebenfalls aktualisiert.
