Die Entstehung und der Wandel von Kultur sind eng mit der Entstehung der Sprache und ihrem Wandel verkoppelt. Beim Bedeutungswandel spielen Metaphern eine wichtige Rolle. Seit langem prägen sie unsere Bilder von der Welt, von Wissen, Natur und Kultur. Die Veranstaltung soll Studierenden im Hauptstudium Magister Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft ermöglichen, sich in kompakter Form in wichtige Fachliteratur zum Thema einzuarbeiten und interdisziplinäre Perspektiven zu gewinnen.
Das Blockseminar wird voraussichtlich ganztägig (sonnabends) durchgeführt. Auch eine andere Organisationsform (Wochenblock) ist möglich, wenn beim Vorbesprechungstermin hierüber eine Einigung erzielt wird.
