Dem Kauf- und Werkvertragsrecht kommt sowohl im Examen als auch in der Praxis große Bedeutung zu. Die Veranstaltung behandelt die Pflichten der Vertragsparteien, das Recht der Leistungsstörungen beim Kauf- und Werkvertrag und dabei insbesondere das Recht der Gewährleistung. Im Bereich des Kaufrechts werden als Sonderformen der Verbrauchsgüterkauf und der Handleskauf besprochen.
