Das Seminar will die Herrschaftspraktiken und die Vorstellung von Königtum und Kaisertum in der Karolingerzeit thematisieren. Den Ausgangspunkt bildet das von Bernhard Jussen herausgegebene Buch ¿Die Macht des Königs¿. Zur Vorbereitung sind die Einleitung sowie die Seiten 27-81 des Bandes zu lesen
