230426 Praxis: Regie führen in Filmprojekten (S) (WiSe 2023/2024)

"Die Regisseure, die die Schauspieler nur in die Dekoration stellen und die Kamera mehr oder weniger weit entfernt platzieren, je nachdem ob ihre Personen sitzen, stehen oder liegen, die denken falsch und leisten keine richtige Arbeit, die etwas ausdrückt" (Hitchcock in Truffaut 2003, 257). Wie Alfred Hitchcock es bereits andeutet ist Regie führen ein überaus komplexer Vorgang der Medienproduktion. Bei der Regie laufen alle Fäden, z.B. während der Produktionsphase einer Filmproduktion, zusammen. In diesem Seminar werden wir uns - vornehmlch praktisch - dem Regieführen in den verschiedenen Phasen eines Produktionsprozesses annähern. Inhalte des Seminars sind Pre-Production (mit Planung, Storyboarding) und Produktion mit Aspekten wie Auflösung, Kameraeinstellung, Arbeit mit Darsteller*innen (Unterschiede zwischen Theater und Film).
Seminarteilnehmer*innen werden im Laufe des Seminars sowohl inszenieren als auch inszeniert werden.

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundkenntnisse des Storytelling müssen vorhanden sein (Entsprechende Seminarteilnahme oder auch andere Form des Nachweises möglich. Wird in der ersten Sitzung besprochen).

Das Seminar wird eine Reihe praktischer Mikroaufgaben enthalten, durch deren Erfüllung die Studienleistung erworben wird. Eine Prüfungsleistung kann in diesem Seminar auch erworben werden. Die Form der Prüfungsleistung wird zu Beginn des Semesters abgesprochen.
