Märchen sind ein traditioneller Gegenstand des Literaturunterrichts nicht nur in der Primarstufe. Das Seminar vermittelt zunächst grundlegendes Wissen zur Geschichte und Theorie von Volks- und Kunstmärchen, ihren spezifischen Strukturelementen und zu modernen Märchenadaptionen (auch über das Medium Buch hinaus), um so gerüstet im zweiten Teil verschiedene Ansätze zur Märchendidaktik in den Blick zu nehmen. Jede/r Teilnehmer/in sollte vor Semesterbeginn die Grimmschen Märchen und die von Wilhelm Hauff gelesen haben.
