Gegenstand dieses Seminars sind Einzelanalysen ausgewählter Gedichte, angefangen von Goethes Frühwerk (Sturm und Drang) bis zu seinen späten Gedichten. Dabei sollen nicht nur epochale Merkmale sondern auch das breite Spektrum der lyrischen Genres einer genauen Betrachtung unterzogen werden. Bei der Auswahl der Gedichte können Wünsche und Vorschläge der TeilnehmerInnen berücksichtigt werden.

Voraussetzung für die Bescheinigung der aktiven Teilnahme ist neben der regelmäßigen Anwesenheit die aktive Mitarbeit, i.e. jede/r Studierende muss im Laufe des Semesters einige kleinere schriftliche und/oder mündliche Aufgaben übernehmen. Ein benoteter Einzelleistungsnachweis kann nur durch eine schriftliche Hausarbeit oder ein längeres Referat erworben werden.
