300001 Praxisprojekt: Das Ruhrgebiet - Ein starkes Stück Deutschland? (Teil 1) (Pj) (WiSe 2006/2007)

Die Behandlung ausgewählter Regionen NRWs ist traditionell Gegenstand des Sachunterrichts. Vor diesem Hintergrund soll der wohl bekannteste Teilraum des Landes - das Ruhrgebiet - in seinen vielfältigen Erscheinungsformen, strukturellen Merkmalen und neueren Entwicklungen thematisiert werden. Dem Projektansatz entsprechend sollen dabei Arbeitsgruppen gebildet werden, die jeweils einen Themenschwerpunkt bearbeiten. Die Ergebnisse werden anschließend im Plenum vorgestellt und diskutiert. Als Themenschwerpunkte kommen u. a. in Frage:

  • Geschichte des Bergbaus im Ruhrgebiet
  • Vom Erz zum Stahl
  • Mietskasernen, Gartenstädte und Fabrikantenvillen - Wohnen im Ruhrgebiet früher und heute
  • Das Ruhrgebiet - die Dreckschleuder der Nation?
  • Werbung, Kunst und Kultur - Imagekampagnen des Ruhrgebiets
  • Innovative Strategien zur wirtschaftlichen Neuorientierung des Ruhrgebiets.

Im SoSe 2007 sollen Unterrichtseinheiten zur Thematik 'Ruhrgebiet' entwickelt und im Unterricht erprobt werden.
