Seit Platon, Aristoteles und Cicero ist ein Grundbegriff der Ethik der des Affekts (Pathos, Passion, Leidenschaft). Wenn Aristoteles in seiner "Ethik" erklärt, dass die Untersuchung sich mit den Affekten und den Handlungen beschäftigt, wird damit der Innen- und Außenaspekt der Ethik bezeichnet. Und wenn darunter dann bis zur Aufklärung vor allem Theorie und Praxis der Affektenregulierung verstanden wird, bezieht man sich immer wieder zurück auf die klassischen Texte von Platon, Aristoteles und Cicero. Sich hierüber einen Überblick zu verschaffen, ist die Aufgabe des Seminars.
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung (BA-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für eine schriftliche Ausarbeitung eines mündlichen Beitrags nach Absprache. Ein Leistungsnachweis (Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für eine schriftliche Hausarbeit.
