Nach der epagogischen und kritischen Grundlegung in den beiden vorangegangenen Schriften zur Moralphilosophie ("Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten", "Kritik der praktischen Vernunft") liefert Kant in seinem letzten Hauptwerk "Die Metaphysik der Sitten" das ganze moralphilosophische System, bestehend aus der Rechtslehre und Ethik. Aufgabe des Seminars ist (analog zum Hauptseminar über die Rechtslehre im (Wintersemester 2004/05) die Herausarbeitung der Systematik der kantischen Ethik.
Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA-Studiengang) werden kürzere Arbeiten (Details werden im Seminar bekannt gegeben), für einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) eine Hausarbeit erwartet.

Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang: Abgeschlossenes Grundstudium.
