Chats, Reels, Kommentare, Stories – digitale Kommunikation wirkt oft spontan und vielfältig. Doch bei genauerem Hinsehen zeigt sich: Auch hier folgt Kommunikation festen Mustern. In diesem Seminar gehen wir diesen Routinen auf den Grund: Wie begrüßen wir uns auf WhatsApp? Welche Strukturen haben Kommentarverläufe auf YouTube? Welche multimodalen Strategien verwenden Creator*innen auf TikTok oder Instagram?
Gemeinsam analysieren wir konkrete Beispiele aus unterschiedlichen Plattformen und Kommunikationsformaten. Im Zentrum steht dabei der Musterbegriff und die aktuelle Forschung zur Struktur wiederkehrender kommunikativer Praktiken im digitalen Raum.
Ziel ist es, ein kritisches Verständnis für das Musterhafte in scheinbar nicht durch Routinen geprägten Kommunikation zu entwickeln und digitale Kommunikation als soziales Phänomen zu begreifen.
