Selten hat eine Stadt des Altertums durch die Jahrhunderte hindurch die Phantasie von Erwachsenen und auch Kindern so beschäftigt wie "Babylon"!
Der alttestamentliche Bericht von Bau und Zerstörung des Babylonischen Turms bildet die Grundlage für eine Fülle künstlerischer Auseinandersetzungen vom Mittelalter bis in die Neuzeit. Der Turm als Sinnbild der Ursehnsucht des Menschen "über sich hinauszuwachsen" regt Gefühl, Phantasie und Gestaltungswillen an .
Im Seminar sollen neue vielfältige Anregungen zum Umgang mit der biblischen Erzählung in der Schule gegeben und diskutiert werden.
Darüber hinaus werden Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt im RU sinnvoll mit Bildern zu arbeiten, diese zu analysieren und zu deuten.
