This seminar offers a refresher and more in-depth review of central sociological concepts and theories. One major focus is on concepts and theories central to sociological inequality research. In addition to the elaboration of significant social processes and their contextualization, concepts and theories of life course research are discussed and linked to sociological questions relevant to the study of social inequalities.
The seminar takes place over two days as a block seminar.
