Die VA befasst sich mit verschiedenen Governancetheorien sowie deren Anwendung auf internationale Beispiele der Regulierung und Koordination zwischen Staat und Markt. Empirisch wird insbesondere auf Public Private Partnership, öffentliche Vergabe, Regulierungsagenturen und Kammern fokussiert.
