Die Veranstaltung thematisiert exemplarische Bereiche des Sachrechnens in der Grundschule, dabei sowohl theoretische Aspekte als auch praxisorientierte Fragen. Ausgewählte Unterrichtsbeispiele und Aufgabentypen, etwa zu Sachproblemen, Sachtexten, offenen Sachsituationen oder Projekten sollen von den Teilnehmenden analysiert und in den Seminarsitzungen vorgestellt werden.

Das erfolgreiche Studium der Module »Einführung in die Mathematikdidaktik« sowie »Arithmetik und ihre Didaktik« wird vorausgesetzt.
