Die Veranstaltung thematisiert exemplarisch Bereiche der Grundschulgeometrie, dabei sowohl theoretische Aspekte als auch praxisorientierte Fragen. Ausgewählte Unterrichtsbeispiele und Materialien, etwa zu Formen und Körpern, zur Symmetrie oder Raumvorstellung sollen von den Teilnehmenden analysiert und in den Seminarsitzungen vorgestellt werden.

Das erfolgreiche Studium der Module ``Einführung in die Mathematikdidaktik'' sowie ``Arithmetik und ihre Didaktik'' wird vorausgesetzt.
