300125 Massenmedien im Internet - Zur Relevanz von Online-Anschlusskommunikation (S) (SoSe 2017)

Die Massenmedien haben das Internet als neues Distributionsmedium entdeckt; auch die Kommunikation über ihre Angebote findet immer häufiger online statt. War es lange Zeit so, dass Schilderungen von Rezeptionserlebnissen und der Austausch darüber mündlich erfolgten und sich auf kleine Kreise Anwesender (Familie, Familie, Bekannte) beschränkten, so können heute vor allem in den sozialen Netzwerken Diskussionen über Inhalte der Massenmedien auch anonym und in großen Gruppen im Web geführt werden. Wer will, kann noch während des Zuschauens mit Hilfe von Smartphone oder Tablet seine Meinung zu einer Fernsehsendung über Twitter oder Facebook auch Nichtanwesenden mitteilen. Anschlusskommunikation wird jetzt öffentlich und auch für Nichtbeteiligte sichtbar. Zustimmungen wie Ablehnungen gewinnen jetzt eine mediale Präsenz, finden Bestätigung durch viele Gleichgesinnte und zusätzliche Beachtung durch ein Publikum, das die entsprechenden Aktivitäten in den Netzwerken verfolgen kann. In dem Seminar wird es darum gehen, die Besonderheiten dieser kommunikativen Verhältnisse und deren Relevanz für die Massenmedien zu klären.
