Die Entwicklung der Fach- und Bildungssprach von mehrsprachigen Kindern mit Migrationshintergrund ist an der Schnittstelle Primarstufe/ Sekundarstufe 1 ein wichtiges Thema, das über ihren Schulerfolg oftmals in hohem Maße mit entscheidet und sich an der Schnittstelle insbesondere auf die Schulformempfehlung für den Übergang in die Sekundarstufe 1 niederschlägt. Im Seminar werden verschiedene Ansätze des Spracherwerbs unter den Bedingungen von Mehrsprachigkeit vorgestellt und mögliche Spracherwerbsbedingungen reflektiert. Konzepte der Sprachstandsdiagnostik und Sprachförderung werden erarbeitet und vergleichend diskutiert. Verschiedene methodische Möglichkeiten der Förderung der Bildungssprache Deutsch werden fallbezogen erprobt und reflektiert. Die Mehrsprachigkeit wird als bereichernde individuelle Ressource besonders in den Fokus genommen. Zur Vorbereitung auf die Fallstudienarbeit der Studierenden werden Möglichkeiten der forschungsmethodischen Annäherung an das Thema diskutiert. Die Bereitschaft zur aktiven und regelmäßigen Beteiligung auch an Praxiserprobungen wird vorausgesetzt.
