Jean Piaget ist einer der bedeutendsten Entwicklungspsychologen des 20. Jahrhunderts. Seine Forschung hat das Bild von den geistigen Fähigkeiten des Kindes revolutioniert. Das Seminar umfaßt eine Einführung in seine Entwicklungspsychologie (Stufen der geistigen Entwicklung, Mechanismen der geistigen Entwicklung, das Weltbild des Kindes, moralische Vorstellungen von Kindern). Zugleich werden ausgewählte Aspekte seiner ¿ über reine Entwicklungspsychologie hinausgehenden ¿ Allgemeinen Psychologie und Erkenntnistheorie sowie einzelne praktische Anwendungen behandelt. Leistungsnachweis aufgrund von regelmäßiger Teilnahme und Referat oder schriftlicher Ausarbeitung (wird in der ersten Sitzung besprochen).
