In dieser Vorlesung geht es um die linguistische Beschreibung und Erklärung von Äußerungsformen, bei denen Äußerungsbedeutung und Satzbedeutung/Wortbedeutung nicht übereinstimmen (z.B. Indirektheit, Metapher, Ironie, Lüge). Es ist auch theoretisch zu klären, warum Sprecher und Schreiber des Deutschen z.T. sehr aufwändige Konstruktionen bilden, um ihre kommunikativen Ziele zu erreichen. Wird Unverständlichkeit bewusst in Kauf genommen? Oder ? anders gefragt ? worin liegt die Funktionalität latent unverständlicher Äußerungen?
In welcher Form ein Leistungsnachweis erworben werden kann, wird zu Beginn der Veranstaltung bekannt gegeben.

Eine verbindliche Anmeldung für diese Vorlesung ist erforderlich. Eine Anmeldeliste liegt ab 15. März 2004 in C6 - 205 aus.
