There will be two tests in the course before the Christmas break and another test at the end of the semester. BA (2002) students can do either tests I and II and receive as a grade for 3 LP the average of those two marks. Or they can do the final test. For 2 LP AT they must do the tests as above and show evidence of having made some effort to master the most important concepts and information. BA (2011) students must follow the model for 2 LP above as "Studienleistungen" for the course.
Any student may substitute one essay for either Test I or Test II but the essay must be handed in on the day of the test and the topic must have received advance approval.
