392255 ISY Project: Dexmo hand exoskeleton teaches how to play piano (Pj) (SoSe 2020)

Learning a new skill, such as playing sports or a musical instrument
is a great challenge. To be successful, the learner needs an
extensive supervision of an expert and a high training motivation.
In this project we will employ Dexmo hand exoskeleton to guide the
hand, to motivate the learner and by this to accelerate the training
process.
In case this would not find enough interest for a team project, this project proposal would be also offered (in reduced/modified form)

Requirements for participation, required level

- mandatory: basic math knowledge of frame transform
- desired but not mandatory: experience with accessing (read or write) a peripheral device, such as grabbing image of a camera, commanding a servo-motor, reading the position of a wiimote, etc.
- desired but not mandatory: knowledge of basic control theory (controlling position and force of a motor at high level)
- a plus: experience with MIDI interface (getting data from the keyboard)
