Das Seminar widmet sich der grundlegenden Frage, wie Medien unsere Biografien beeinflussen und prägen. Um einen Einblick in die Mediennutzung unterschiedlicher Personengruppen zu erlangen, werden wir verschiedene Studien betrachten, um daraufhin einen Überblick über mögliche Medientechniken und -angebote zu bekommen. Auf theoretischer Ebene beschäftigen wir uns außerdem mit dem Begriff der Mediensozialisation und dem Begriff des medialen Habitus.
Ziel ist es, ein Bewusstsein über mögliche mediale Einflüsse zu erlangen und gleichzeitig die eigene Biografie dahingehend zu reflektieren.
