‚Frenemies‘ – das soll hier das wechselseitige Bedingungsverhältnis von Freund- und Feindschaft bezeichnen, die in der deutschsprachigen Literaturgeschichte u. a. von Reinhard Jirgl („Abschied von den Feinden“), Wilhelm Raabe („Stopfkuchen“) und Christa Wolf („Kassandra“) und in der Geschichte politischer Philosophie u. a. von Friedrich Nietzsche, Carl Schmitt und Jacques Derrida verhandelt wurde. Wir lesen im Seminar literarische und theoretische Texte über Zusammenhänge von Freundschaft und Feindschaft und wenden uns dabei insbesondere den literarästhetischen Darstellungsformen dieser Zusammenhänge zu.
Die finale Leseliste für das Semester wird in der ersten Seminarsitzung besprochen.
Das Seminar richtet sich an Student*innen, die daran interessiert sind, gemeinsam über Texte nachzudenken und darüber ins Gespräch zu kommen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht nötig, eine regelmäßige Teilnahme und die Bereitschaft, während des Semesters auch längere und schwer zugängliche Texte zu lesen, sehr wohl.
