In this study-led group, we will immerse ourselves in the world of storytelling and explore how storytelling can arouse children’s interest in literature and increase the motivation to learn English. We will look at different first reading media and consider how we can use them in our classrooms. Our aim is to combine storytelling elements and appropriate first reading media to create an interesting and open learning environment, since, self-evidently, we want every child to have chance to enjoy the world of literature. This group is not only aimed at students studying to become primary school teachers, but also at anyone interested in the subject – everyone is welcome!
