Dieses Seminar ist eine Einführung in die Persönlichkeitsforschung mit Vertiefung bestimmter Aspekte. Es werden zunächst einige Grundbegriffe, Methoden und grundlegende Theorien und Konzeptionen der Persönlichkeit behandelt. Danach wenden wir uns der Frage zu, ob Persönlichkeitsmerkmale eher durch Anlagen oder durch die Umwelt beeinflusst werden.
Prinzipien und Befunde der Forschung zur Entwicklung von Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen über die Lebensspanne bilden den Abschluss des Seminars.

Die Studierenden sollen bestimmte Teilgebiete mittels vorgegebener Texte und eigener Recherche selbst erarbeiten und den KommilitonInnen im Referat und durch geeignete Arbeitsaufgaben (Gruppenarbeit) nahe bringen.
