Was verbirgt sich z.B. hinter der Montessoripädagogik oder was ist mit dem Humboldtschen Bildungsbegriff gemeint? Welche Maßstäbe legt die PISA-Studie an? Das Seminar bietet den Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit Konzepte und Ansprüche hinter den Schlagworten in der Bildungsdiskussion kennen zu lernen und Stärken und Schwächen derselben auszuloten, um selbst einen begründeten Standpunkt zu entwickeln und einzunehmen. Das Seminar versteht sich auch als Diskursplattform, auf der Vorurteile hinterfragt und überprüft, problematische Zusammenhänge aufgezeigt und reflektiert werden können. Dazugehörige Texte befinden sich als Kopiervorlage im Semesterapparat.
