Eine obligatorische Vorbesprechung findet am 09.10.2014 statt. Anschließend werden in vier gemeinsamen Sitzungen (23.10./06.11./20.11./04.12.2014) zunächst Techniken wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens rekapituliert, die für die Erstellung von schriftlichen Arbeiten besonders wichtig sind (bspw. Themenfindung, Planung des Schreibprozesses, Literaturrecherche, Zitieren, Formulieren und Argumentieren, formale Gestaltung von schriftlichen Arbeiten). Des Weiteren findet eine Einzelberatung in der Sprechstunde statt.
