Motivation ist... vielfältig...facettenreich...dynamisch...logisch...unlogisch UND nicht nur für zukünftige LehrerInnen, BeraterInnen und DozentInnen ein relevantes Thema, wenn man Motivation als Motor des menschlichen Handelns begreift.

Das Seminar beleuchtet den Faktor Motivation in L2-Erwerbsprozessen aus theoretischer, empirischer und didaktischer Perspektive. In den ersten Sitzungen geht es um zentrale Theorien und Ansätze, die die Motivationsforschung bis heute geprägt haben. Um diese "theoretische Kost" auch auf individueller Ebene zu begreifen, werden in den entsprechenden Sitzungen Anwendungsaufgaben im Fokus stehen. Im Anschluss werden neuere Studienergebnisse zum Thema diskutiert und reflektiert. Die didaktische Ebene soll in Bezug auf die in den Seminardiskussionen gewonnenen Erkenntnisse stets mitgedacht werden.

Bereitschaft zu Lesen englischsprachiger Fachliteratur und die Bereitschaft auf ein paar 'gedankliche' Ausflüge in die Motivationspsychologie
