Contents, comment

Understanding Asia is a long-standing colloquium series of the AB Sociology of Transnationalisation and Social Anthropology in collaboration with other ABs. Broadly defined, it seeks to introduce innovative research on social transformations in Asia through lectures by established and emerging scholars based in institutions around the world. The series is intended to take place with a particular thematic focus for each semester. In the coming winter semester we will have four lectures under the theme "Ideas, Democracy and Rights". Details about the schedule can be found here: https://www.uni-bielefeld.de/fakultaeten/soziologie/fakultaet/arbeitsbereiche/ab6/ag_sozialanthropologie/kolloquium-2/understanding-asia/
