Auch 30 Jahre nach der Überwindung der deutschen Teilung ist das Thema Ost – West in den verschiedensten Kontexten präsent. Im Geschichtsunterricht der Sekundarstufe I und II gehört die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Aspekt der deutschen Geschichte zu den obligatorischen Bestandteilen des Lehrplans. Ausgehend von einem individuellen Brainstorming zu möglichen Inhalten soll im Seminar in einem ersten Schritt eine gemeinsame Unterrichtsreihe entwickelt und geplant werden, die den Bogen von der unmittelbaren Nachkriegszeit bis zur Wiedervereinigung spannt. In einem zweiten Schritt werden dann zu den in dieser Reihe festgelegten Themen Stundenentwürfe erarbeitet, präsentiert und in den jeweiligen Seminarsitzungen für ein konstruktives Feedback zur Diskussion gestellt.
