Die Laborschule Bielefeld ist nicht nur eine der bekanntesten deutschen Reformschulen der Gegenwart, sie ist darüber hinaus durch ihren Standort und ihren Status als „staatliche Versuchsschule“ bis heute untrennbar mit Geschichte und Konzept der Universität Bielefeld verbunden. Dies wollen wir im Seminar zum Anlass nehmen, um uns intensiv sowohl mit der Entstehungs- und Entwicklungsgeschichte der Laborschule als auch mit ihrem erziehungswissenschaftlichen und pädagogischen Konzept auseinanderzusetzen. Neben der Lektüre entsprechender Texte werden wir dabei ein besonderes Augenmerk immer auch auf die pädagogische Praxis richten: So werden wir zum einen die Laborschule direkt vor Ort besuchen und zum anderen gezielt im Unterricht der Laborschule hospitieren.

Für eine Studienleistung wird eine regelmäßige Teilnahme und aktive Mitarbeit in den Seminarsitzungen, die Lektüre und Bearbeitung von Texten zur Vorbereitung sowie die Durchführung einer kurzen (Gruppen-)Präsentation erwartet. Möglichkeiten zur Absolvierung einer benoteten oder unbenoteten Modulprüfung werden in der ersten Seminarsitzung erläutert.
