In diesem Kolloquium werden die neueren Entwicklung der europäischen Universitätsentwicklung diskutiert. Zum einen wird der Eintritt der Universität in die die Audit Gesellschaft (Power 1997) thematisiert, zum anderen werden Innovationen insbesondere der englischen Hochschulpolitik näher untersucht, die unter der Überschrift 'akademische Risiken' verhandelt werden.
