300203 Einführung in die Risikosoziologie (S) (SoSe 2019)

Risiko tauchte als politischer Begriff erstmals in den 1960er Jahren auf und blickt heute auf eine ansehnliche Karriere zurück, die in der weitverbreiteten Bezeichnung der modernen als "Weltrisikogesellschaft" einerseits, und der Anwendung von Risikoanalysen in so unterschiedlichen Politikfeldern wie Arbeitsschutz, Umwelt oder Hochschule anderseits, kulminiert.

In diesem Seminar werden die wichtigsten Stufen der Karriere des Risikobegriffs und seiner soziologischen Reflexion anhand zentraler Texte rekonstruiert und in ihren Konsequenzen analysiert.
