Im Praktikum werden die Grundlagen biotechnologischen Arbeitens vermittelt. Dazu gehören Laborversuche zu den Themen mikrobiologische Grundtechniken, Wachstum von Mikroorganismen sowie Sterilisation und Inaktivierungskinetik. Desweiteren werden enzymatische Bestimmungsmethoden erlernt.
Wichtige Information für Studentinnen:
Sofern eine Schwangerschaft bekannt wird, ist eine Arbeit in den Laboren nicht ohne Weiteres möglich. Hier steht moralisch und gesetzlich der Schutz des Ungeborenen im Vordergrund. Für das weitere Vorgehen bitte unverzüglich Kontakt aufnehmen mit dem Studiengangkoordinator Dominik Cholewa: mbt.techfak@uni-bielefeld.de. Zusammen mit dem Studiengangskoordinator werden dann diskret alle nötigen Vorkehrungen getroffen und alle Möglichkeiten für das Studium mit Kind belichtet.
Diese Information erfolgt auch jährlich bei den Sicherheitsunterweisungen der Labore im Fachbereich.
