241040 Algebraische Kurven (V) (SoSe 2016)

Eine algebraische Kurve ist die Nullstellenmenge eines Polynoms in zwei Variablen über einem Körper. Zum Beispiel ist eine Parabel, die Nullstellenmenge des Polynoms X²-Y über den reelen Zahlen, eine algebraische Kurve (wenn auch nicht die interessanteste).
Zu den algebraischen Kurven gehören auch elliptische Kurven, die eine bedeutende Rolle in der algebraischen Zahlentheorie spielen.

In dieser Vorlesung wiederholen und ergänzen wir die nötigen Resultate und Begriffe aus der Algebra und führen die wesentlichen Begriffe zur Untersuchung algebraischer Kurven ein und geben so einen ersten Einblick in die Algebraische Geometrie.

Empfohlen wird der vorherige Besuch einer Algebra 1.
