Ernst Tugendhat zählt zweifellos zu den wenigen unverwechselbaren Stimmen in der deutschen Philosophie der letzten drei Jahrzehnte. Sein Ruf ist nicht zuletzt auf seine Fähigkeit zurückzuführen, Argumente mit einem hohen Grad an Klarheit zu formulieren, sowie durch seine Bereitschaft, seine Positionen wegen begründeter Einwände zu revidieren und immer wieder zu verfeinern.
In diesem Seminar wollen wir Tugendhats ethische Grundpositionen untersuchen, Nachbesserungen nachvollziehen und ethische Fragestellungen systematisch analysieren.

Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA- oder Master-Studiengang) werden zwei Kurzessays, für einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) wird eine Hausarbeit erwartet.

Requirements for participation, required level

Im BA-Studium ist die Teilnahme auf Studierende ab dem dritten Studienjahr beschränkt.

Zur Anschaffung sind folgende Texte empfohlen:
"Probleme der Ethik", Stuttgart 1984.
"Vorlesungen über Ethik", Frankfurt/M 1993.
"Dialog in Leticia", Frankfurt/Main 1997.
Eine Auswahl von einzelnen Aufsätzen wird außerdem am Anfang des Semesters verteilt.
